To break the news to Jody, I wrapped a baby outfit with a card and gave it to him, telling him that this was something he had wanted for a long time and I wanted to get his picture when he opened it. He was completely caught off-guard. The initial reaction was the proverbial "Deer in the headlight" look below, but he quickly warmed to the idea of becoming a Daddy.

oh my gosh I'm so excited for you. Being a mom is the best thing in the whole world. And that's coming from one that only gets 4 hours of sleep at night. It's all worth it I tell you. You will be such get parents!!
Congratulations!!! We are so excited for you!!! June is a great month to have a baby (Caleb's birthday is June 14th). I'm hoping January/February is also a good time.
